777 Challenge: A Snippet from My Debut Novel
One of my favorite things to do, as both and author and a blogger, is to check out other author blogs. It's not just a great source of inspiration, but it's quite informative too! Every now and then I'll find an awesome read about improving your writing skills, but I love stumbling on fun stuff too! Luck has it, I stumbled upon the 777 Challenge on Jennifer Acre's blog :)
Ok...you caught me. Luck wasn't even a factor haha. If I'm being honest, I was hardcore scrolling through her blog and ended up in the archives of August 2016! There, you happy now?!
Anyhoo! I thought the challenge sounded awesome! And I figured I've had this blog long enough, I should probably go ahead and share my first excerpt with you guys. So deep breath in, here it is!
777 Snippet
For this round, I decided to go with a snippet from my debut novel. If you don't know what that is, you can read more about it here!
I know I shouldn't be so nervous, but this is the first time I've ever put my work online and I can't help but be terrified of what everyone might think :/ Of course, please feel free to give constructive criticism in the comments. Any and all advice is much appreciated!
